This is Hypnophonic...
I’m sure the detailed and lengthy story we could tell about Hypnophonic is way, way to long for any casual reader, so here is a little about ourselves and the Hypnophonic project.
So, back in the day, Sami and Feef got tired of playing piano for hours at a time daily and decided to check out other instruments. Sami tried playing the guitar, found out he was a total failure, and went onto bass instead. Feef started playing the guitar, which made him the coolest person ever. Soon enough, the Sami and Feef were playing a few tunes with a drummer down the street. With this first band, called Improvised, they wrote a couple of songs that will never be played again.
Next, Sami and Feef learned to sing, very well I might add, and became proficient songwriters. A couple years into learning how to write songs, they found a great drummer, Andres "Ace" Bravo, and produced an album as the Audio Assassins. About a year later, a new band name, Hypnophonic, was chosen and the band put out another self-titled E.P.
Then Ace moved to Miami and Hypnophonic went through a couple of interim drummers. Ace came back and played gigs with Hypnophonic in the summer of '08 before Hypnophonic finally found Jon Patton, an amazing drummer.
The second-newest CD, "her fiction is grand. her truth is rotten...", was released in September '08 and is available at most digital music distributors (including iTunes) for purchase.
The newest CD, "Songs By Them," was released in July of '09 and is available at most digital distributors for purchase.
